The Gin Basil Smash is a contemporary icon created by Jörg Meyer in Hamburg. Its strength lies in a clear idea: allowing basil to express itself fully within a structure of gin and acidity.

Basil, gin and acidity
The Dyane Paris Basil Smash was reworked with Thibaud Sauvet. This work focused on the vegetal expression of basil, its meeting with the structure of gin and the precision of acidity.
Basil must remain alive: recognisable without becoming invasive, fresh without losing depth. Acidity provides momentum, gin establishes the structure and balance holds colour, aroma and length together.

Colour as the first sensation
In the Dyane Paris world, the visual dimension does not merely illustrate the cocktail: it opens the experience. The green porcelain drapery resonates with the vegetal expression and prepares the eye for freshness.
At service, temperature, glassware and light complete the composition. The Basil Smash becomes a meeting of colour, material and taste before the sculpture continues its existence alone.
